How to Design an Effective Marketing Hiring Strategy

Write a Job Posting

After this, you’ll want to create your job posting. This document consists of all the information your candidates will see before they apply.

To do so, write the title of the position, along with any other necessary information, such as salary. Then, give a brief introduction to your company and describe the role. List what education you’re looking for and talk about the qualities you hope your future hire will have. Finally, mention any benefits, such as paid vacation or health insurance and include information on how to apply.

Further, you should include contact information in case your candidates have any questions.

After you write a job posting, put it online! Many job candidates look for work on job boards such as Glassdoor, Monster, or Indeed. Yet, if you want the best results, post on a more specified job site, such as those for content writers or digital marketers. This helps you get more qualified applications.

Include Multiple Team Members in the Interview

Involve people from your current marketing team in the interview process. Allow them to ask specific questions of the candidates and consult them before you hire anyone. 

That way, they can assess who will serve as the best fit.
